My name is Ayden Henson and I am on full-time staff with Reformed University Fellowship here in Lynchburg! Reformed University Fellowship is a world-wide campus ministry and our mission is to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve. I serve alongside RUF as an intern - meaning that while I gain meaningful ministry experience, I also am being mentored by a pastor who is on full-time staff with RUF. We exist on college campuses because we care deeply about God’s work in student’s lives and want to be apart of what He is doing. 

As an intern I get to do a lot of things. My main role is to assist my campus minister in facilitating RUF Lynchburg. I do this by regularly meeting with students, leading small groups, and facilitating our weekly large group and other various events! I also attend multiple weeks of ministry training through RUF and work through a series of books and programs to grow in love and knowledge of God’s word! Not only do I love the ministry that I get to do, but I also am so blessed to be immersed in a program where I can grow and learn so much!
