Missions

Below are the six missionaries we support currently. Read more about each and if you feel led to, donate directly to them by clicking their donate links. We donate monthly and donate drip sales during missions weeks in shop.

  • Eric Laughlin

My name is Eric Laughlin, and I’m on staff with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). The mission of FCA is to lead EVERY coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. I have focused that down into the wrestling community of Lynchburg. I want to serve each high/middle school wrestler and coach by helping them get better at wrestling and develop relationships with God.
  • Ayden Henson

My name is Ayden Henson and I am a missionary for Reformed University Fellowship in Lynchburg! RUF is a world-wide college ministry and we are exist because we care about college students and want to see them loving Jesus through faithfully following Him, and loving their neighbors. Some of our avenues of ministry include meeting with students one-on-one, various small groups, and our weekly large group where we hear God’s word preached and sang!
  • The Kings

The Kings serve as pastors to a missional community called “Youth With A Mission” in Kona, Hawaii. They reach the lost, disciple the saved, and send missionaries all over the world in order to finish the great commission. Their heart burns for the orphan to have a family, and for entire unreached people groups, high schools and college campuses to be saved, discipled, and sent.
  • Keylon Almond

I’m Keylon Almond, and I am on staff with Cafe 1040! We are missionary mobilizers with a vision of reaching the unreached and seeing disciples of Jesus in every people group. We exist to bridge the gap between the desire to live on mission overseas and the reality of getting there, and we do this by running a missions mentorship program in the 10/40 window. As part of the operations team, I streamline this process by providing resources and infrastructure for students and staff alike to perform their roles in the Great Commission effectively and sustainably.
  • Mason Boni

Hello!! My name is Mason Boni and I currently serve as a local missionary with Cru here in Lynchburg. Cru is a global mission organization that is centered upon coming alongside local churches to train and equip college students to engage in the Great Commission. My responsibility is to disciple students in our movements in order to help them follow Jesus more closely, lead their movements at their schools, and grow in evangelism so that, eventually, every student on that campus would know someone who genuinely follows Jesus. HUGE thank you to Kinship Roasters and to you all who are reading this for joining me in what God is doing through your kind and generous support/prayers!!!! It is of eternal significance!!!! Much love and God bless!!
  • Jack - ACTS

The mission of Acts is to train and equip indigenous leaders for the planting of churches among their own unreached people groups throughout South Asia. The ultimate vision is the multiplication of churches until there is a church within walking distance of every person in Asia. To achieve this vision, Acts operates training centers in South Asian countries where local leaders are equipped with pastoral and church planting disciplines.
